Tyndall used 'differential' to mean imperceptibly small differences
that gradually add up, like the flow of honey. Tie this in with DRS
or differential reproductive success. A differential could be either
large or small.

Tyndall referred to the scholastic mysticism that Aquinas
adopted(something like that, must get citations). Tie this in with the
book Wilkins referred to on how aristotle metaphysics got adapted into
the catholic mass.
