As a long time user of Evernote on my iphones i was aware of the 3 dots and choosing the application to send to from there but it is not there on my iphone 13 Pro Max with the latest IoS. Clicking edit at the top of that screen also does not give an option to add Evernote. I tried turning the suggested apps off but still Evernote does not appear. Maybe its to do with the fact Ive had so many applications on my phone over the years and there's some kind of limit. Next port of call will be to call Apple support and see if they have any ideas as your experience of seeing the share to evernote on your IoS suggests its something to do with my setup and maybe not an issue with Evernote mobile. I'll get back to you with what Apple say. Thanks for your input @PinkElephant.

not there on my iphone 13 Pro MAX. I tried all that @PinkElephant said exactly as he said and its still not there.

I rang Apple and they said its an app issue and not there's. I'm not fully convinced of that. Strange thing is if I go to the photos app and go to share a photo then Evernote is there as an option without even clicking the 3 dots. Same if I go to the Files app and choose a pdf I see the Evernote option right there. But in Safari or Chrome on the iphone the share button does not offer the Evernote as a share option. If I choose copy it seems to send it to the Files app where I can then insert it into a new or previously opened Note. Its not too much of a hassle now I know what to do and it does give me the option to copy multiple pdf's or other files into a single note.

Its a bit of a weird one since @PinkElephant sees the option and I don't but the workaround I figured out works fine and has taught me an extra way to add multiple screenshot PDF's into a single note.

I've been using Evernote for a few weeks now, going from a curious passer-by to a burgeoning power-user pretty quickly. I'm constantly surprised by the ways one can integrate other services, even ones that are not technically supported, with the Evernote suite. This is my biggest example, and I encourage others to give it a try!

I bought a new printer a few days ago, an HP Envy 4500. I bought it exclusively to scan files into Evernote. Well, I came to find out that this printer (and most new HP Printers) have this service called E-Print. Basically, your printer gets its own e-mail address and, if someone sends it an e-mail with an attachment, the printer automatically prints it. I thought that was pretty nifty in and of itself, but then I realized that Evernote also gives you an e-mail address, and immediately set out to find a way to integrate the two services. Here's how I set it up:

If anyone has an ideas of ways in which we can use Evernote and HP E-Print apps together, please post them in the comments! If there's good ideas, I'll update this post with them so everyone can find them easily!

I am curious: how did you get the "Scan to evernote" via email to work? I bought an Officejet 6600 recently, and I'm trying to get this to work. I've added the evernote email address to the eprint Scan-to-mail app. Eprint sent me an confirmation code, which I received in Evernote correctly. But scanned documents aren't received in Evernote, they just don't arrive... Scanning to my normal email address workt fine, though, and forwarding mails to evernote works as well... But direct mail from eprint to evernote just doesn't arrive.....

I am facing the same challenges as Carmiel even though mine is worse! I just don't seem to receive the activation code/PIN sent from HP Scan to email app to Evernote which will enable me to fully activate direct scanning to Evernote. I have searched my inbox severally to no avail. I have also fiddled endlessly in my account page in HP eprinter website. I need urgent help about this important step. Cheers

1. The printer has built in scan to email and REQUIRES that it sends a PIN to the receiving email (EG Evernote) but I cannot get the pin from within Evernote email that HP sends - it does not appear in EN (my inbox notebook)!

2. I feel like an idiot because I cannot find a download for the HP application Scan to email where users seem to be able to simply add a list of email recipients and BINGO! HP didn't help --- they installed the app on my ptr for me but again it asks for a PIN!

Hello Hypernoter, I just bought the same printer (HP Envy 4500) but when I try to install the Scan to Email App in the Print Center it says that App is not available for this printer. Would you please tell me how did you installed it?

Hey Hypernoter. I just got my HP 8610 and set it up similar to how you did! I know this is a year old, but had something you may like. In your printer settings you could set up the subject of the email to be something like: Scanned Document @Notebook #scan

This will give the note the title "Scanned Document", place it in the notebook "Notebook" (or whatever notebook you choose), and give it the tag "scan" (or whatever tag you choose). I have all mine going into my main notebook with a "scan" tag so that I can easily filter them and further file them when i'm in evernote.

Rather than emailing, I use the "Scan to Network Folder" (from my HP 8600 all-in-one printer). First, I created a folder on my computer called "Add to Evernote". Then I set up Evernote to automatically ingest whatever's in the Add to Evernote folder (Tools/Import Folders...). Then I simply Scan to Network Folder from my HP 8600. No messing with email addresses (either E'note's email address nor the HP ePrint email address).

Specifically, I'm writing a travel guidebook, and want to create an interactive packing check list with my readers. My goal is to give Evernote-using readers of my book a tool that they can subscribe to check off what they've packed for their trips from a suggested list, one that they can re-use over and over again.

My wife and I constantly share Evernotes and notebooks, and I've used a packing list I've created to help me not forget essentials for upcoming trips, as well as to never leave anything behind in my hotel room. You know, little things like my phone, wallet, wedding ring, passport, etc.

Sure, I could create a check list document with an app like Word or Adobe InDesign, and save it as a .pdf. And I still might. But I thought that using Evernote for this, and sharing it with others, could be a tremendous help.

Basically, you can share the notes with public. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that URLs stop working after some time or when you move a note within your Evernote notebooks. You may be able to overcome this by making one public notebook and placing all your shared notes there but I am not sure this option still exists.

Not sure about the trouble that mwlodarski had, but as long as you keep the note in the same note store (account) as when you created the link to it (and you create the link as described in the above help), the link will work.

I've been using Evernote with my students at Ohio State for four years. The class is designed around making ePortfolios. Most everything about Evernote has been getting better over time but there is one major problem. Students (and everyone who uses Evernote) can not share a folder/portfolio with the public. I am a Premium member of Evernote and find the loss of public notebooks to be a critical deficiency. Please restore the folder public link option.

To confirm, sharing public links to notes and notebooks is currently an active feature in Evernote. At one point, we removed this feature and after evaluating user feedback, we quickly brought it back.

You can create an 'Alaska Travel Guide' notebook and can have notes with checklists, relevant articles clipped from the web, etc. If it's a travel guide notebook, you can stick a table of contents in it to make it easier for your fans to follow: -us/articles/209005667.

Once you share this public link with others, they can click on it and choose to join the notebook (they'll need to have an Evernote account to do this). This notebook will be view only for them, unless they request permission to edit and you accept. Any changes that you make to this notebook (i.e. add new notes) will be synced and your fans will see them.

I just purchased a new Raven Pro scanner and love it. I am looking to go completely paperless and have a significant number of documents that I would like to scan and shred. The documents are unorganized. I believe I would like to use Evernote to organize these documents, but also have the Raven Cloud, Dropbox and OneDrive, all with unlimited storage. Does anyone have experience with this and can offer advice on the best way to quickly get this done? I scanned several hundred documents into Raven Cloud yesterday, believing that I would use this as a landing place for the documents, and would then rename them (is that necessary or advantageous?) and move them to Evernote/Dropbox/OneDrive - however, that is not possible unless I scan the documents directly into one of those cloud services or download each PDF. If Evernote is ultimate destination, any thoughts on renaming files and putting them into specific folders and/or tagging them and leaving them all in one folder?
