How to change a new Myanmar Passport in Sg

Hi All,

I changed the new passport a few days ago.
The procedures are as follows,

1. In MM Embassy
1.1. Required to pay tax at least till March 2010. ( not more than 4 months back from current date )
1.2. Must take photo at MM embassy. ( Start from 2/8/2010 )
1.3. Required to go personally for thumb print & signature.
1.4. Submit the information with old passport and then come back again
next (xx) days to collect back.
1.5. After that, Passport no. will be changed (start with M XXXXX)
1.6. Get 3 years validity from new passport issued date, regardless of
existing validity period.
1.7. Required to  pay 150 S$ for new passport with 3 years validity period.

2. After you received the new passport,  go to MOM (SP/EP) or ICA (PR)
and go to reception to get the change passport form.
2.1 Fill the form and update the new PP No. as in counter accordingly.
2.2 For PR, will be received Re-entry permit letter and  ICA may not
endorse in your passport like as previously.

3. You may need to return back your old MM passport within 1 month to
MM embassy.
3.1 So, please update any related organizations accordingly, if any.
(eg: bank, loans. etc)
3.2 No need to update separately for other GOV agency, if you have
already updated in ICA or MOM.
