Hello Everyone,

I have a problem with an Elastix system where all calls are recorded yet they are not shown in a proper list on the web GUI. For example instead of showing calls "1-15 out of 2000" I see only 1 call displayed. If I press Next, I see "16-31 out of 2000" and still 1 recorded msg displayed. This is PBX> Monitoring section. I check /var/spool/asterisk/monitor and all calls are there. Also, call reports are just find. It seems to me that something in the html page prevents it from displaying all the calls. I am including a URL of the snapshot here:

Thanks,
Bruce

I have used monitoring and it works just fine including all the reports. If all the wav files are present, i doubt there is something wrong with the database recording the call data. Or someone might have deleted the records from web interface manually.

If you delete the displayed data, only the database records are erased and not teh actual wav files. You can check the DB manually.

Thanks for the feedback Farhan.

I doubt anyone deletes the displayed data. I can even check the recordings from the last hour and they are still not there. It's probably not getting written to the DB in the first place. How can I query the DB for recorded files? or if they are deleted is there any way that I can insert them back quickly?

Also, wondering if anyone has a nice page for displaying all calls recorded in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor via apache directory browsing or mond_autoindex?

Regards,
Bruce

As I thought, this turned out to be a bug. I filed a bug for it here:

http://bugs.elastix.org/view.php?id=16

The issue arises if one creates a username for each extension and then assign them a group other than Administrator. Apparently there is a pging problem. Problem with assigning Administrator privilage to each user as you know is a security risk and a headache as each rep will have the potential of changing the guts of the system.

Hi Bruce,

The call data should also be available in

/var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv

The calls should have a unique id ... something like 1235974634.21 which might help you point to the actual recording file. But i am not sure about this.

I read you mail about the bug. As i told you i have been using Elastix since 0.92 and presently on Elastix 1.3 stable. I never had that problem. However, it may still be bug. I was thinking it should either not save any data at all, or should store all the data - a bit confusing with some of data written saved ot DB and some of it is missing.

Thanks for the input again. If I assign Administrator privilage everything shows up just nicely but then all calls are mixed so everyone can listen to others conversation. If any other privilage other than Administrator is assigned I see this behaviour. I checked and double checked the .csv file and can't see anything wrong; all in right place. Let's see what paloSantos come up with.

Thanks,
Bruce
