VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY

Hello Everyone, 

I have a volunteer opportunity for you all. It is very late notice, but if you are interested you can get hours for this. I am part of another organization called Morrisville Youth Leadership Council and we are having a charity car wash for an organization called Action Against Hunger. There will be three three hour shifts. 9-12, 12-3, 3-6. You can do one or more than one. Please let me know if you are interested and even if you can't volunteer come over and get your car washed or please donate. 

The Car wash is a charity car wash at Autozone ( 1017 Morrisville Carpenter Rd Morrisville, NC 27560) on Saturday23rd. The car wash lasts from 9am-6pm and donations are appreciated. Here is some information about the organization we are doing the car wash for:

The Action Against Hunger Walk-a-Thon is an event organized by high school students from North Carolina that raises money to help save lives across the world. The first walk was in 2013, and the students were able to raise enough to save 49 lives. Now, in their second year of planning, the team hopes to raise more to save even more lives.

This year, the Action Against Hunger Walk a Thon will be held on August 30th at Lake Crabtree County Park; arrival will begin at 9:30, and the walk will begin at 10:00. The walk will be based in the Boat Rental area of the park, so look for signs. Let your friends and family know about the cause as well!  We hope that you all can help us support a great cause and make this walk super successful in its second year!
