The best method I found was to download the most recent edition of Visual C++. -US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-160 Once I did the x64 and x86 download, just restart your PC and the game works. Hope this helped people who are going through the struggle I faced.
If you have a newer CD-drive with a spindle speed of 24x or greater, you'll have noticed these produce quite a bit of noise and vibration when reading discs. There are still a couple of games that can't be patched to run without the CD in the drive. Fortunately, most Win9x era games only require 4-8x spindle and most drives will happily read CDs at that rate when told to do so.
If you install or use for upgrade only VMware vCenter Server 6.7 Update 1, but do not apply ESXi 6.7 Update 1, and if you configure or reconfigure per-VM EVC, virtual machines on unpatched hosts might fail to power on. You might also see the issue if you enable cluster-level EVC and even one of the hosts in the cluster is not patched with the latest update. The new CPU IDs of that cluster might not be available on the cluster. In such a cluster, if you configure or reconfigure per-VM EVC, virtual machines might fail to power on.

By default ansible.windows.win_updates does not manage reboots, but will signal when a reboot is required with the reboot_required return value. reboot can be used to reboot the host if required in the one task.
ansible.windows.win_updates can take a significant amount of time to complete (hours, in some cases). Performance depends on many factors, including OS version, number of updates, system load, and update server load.
Beware that just after ansible.windows.win_updates reboots the system, the Windows system may not have settled yet and some base services could be in limbo. This can result in unexpected behavior. Check the examples for ways to mitigate this.
We expanded support for opening editors into floating windows to custom editors, and generally all editors that use the webview API. This includes markdown preview, browser preview, and complex custom editors, such as our hex editor.
Note: due to a technical limitation, moving a webview-based editor between windows requires the contents of that editor to reload. It is then up to the editor to restore the state you had previously accumulated. In some cases your state might be reset, as if you had opened the editor for the first time.
Patch 6 will be going live today on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and will require approximately 150GB of free space to install for those playing on PC and Steam Deck. If you find yourself without the space to install the update, we recommend uninstalling BG3 and then re-downloading the patched version.
