We used the BtgI-TaqI enzyme combination for our GBS project. Is there any chance that we could get support for these enzymes added to the TASSEL-GBS pipeline?

Thank you.

Kind regards,
Matthew Haas

HI Matthew –

With the current release of TASSEL 5 you can easily add your own enzymes.

  1.  Pull the tassel-5 source code.
  2. Edit file lib/enzymes.ini :  add your new enzymes
  3. Compile and run

The code will pull in the new enzymes you’ve defined in the lib/enzymes.ini file.
