marker density golden number ?

     To Tassel Google Group,

This question regards the optimal density of SNPs expressed in number of  SNPs /1Mb [ please correct me if these are not the appropriate units ] .

 Is this SNP density corelated R^2 value. Is R^2  a value that not come from MLM or GML , but from the SNPs density and segregations ?

      Can anyone unify the meaning of a low/high  p , Marker R^2 value , geneticVar, residualVar and -2LnLikelihood in a table and explain the overall low and high value of these results ?
