Out of Memory

My config file looks like this:

However , I am not sure about the space between Xmx_100g since :

 "Change -Xms (minimum heap, i.e. -Xms 512m) and -Xmx (maximum heap, i.e. -Xmx 5g) as appropriate."

       here [ above ] the space is present for Windows ,which is my Operating system ,

while :

"./run_pipeline.pl -Xmx5g​ (Example to execute command line with 5 GB Max Heap size)" 

   no space

   Dear Mr. Casstevens ,

I truly appreciate your help. 

I am still facing this heap memory problem .

    

Task Manager after failing, but while  executing CPU use by Tassel was at most 30%  while power usage very high.

  I am not a system adm and I do not have access to the *.bat file but I can ask for help as I did for  *.vmpoptions file. 

  What should be modified in this  *.bat file ?

      Dear Mr. Casstevens,

   I not sure why the JVM max memory is not changed , although the files that set this are directing towards a higher available memory.

On Windows10 Task Manager I saw that Tassel Mem use goes up to 30,000MB , but then I see that the progress bar either empty itself after being filled more than half way through or I get some of the errors already posted.

I get the above error after I shut down and restart fresh Tassel.

I am able also to provide this possibly helpful info . Again based on Windows Task Manager the problems occurs around Tassel memory use of >30,000 MB.

I would suggest running TASSEl in bash, so that you can use start_tassel.pl.  That way you can set the heap size on the command line.   ./start_tassel.pl -debug -Xmx100g ...
