Assalaamoalaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
I have been contacted with a group in Dallas who are dealing with more than 220 refugee families in Dallas area. They are in urgent need of the following items:
1. 34 Nos. Blankets/comforters.
2. Jackets Size 5 each of size 8 10 14 16 20 - need black or blue or any other color except pink, yellow and green
3. Sweaters 9 x small 7 x medium for adults
4. 2 Nos. used microwaves
5. 4 used vacuum cleaners
7.20 pairs socks each of Small Medium & Large
8. 23 nos. bed sheets ( 6 queen six and 17 twin size)
9. 19 nos. pillow covers
10. Cash donations to help with the shipments.
I will appreciate if you can forward this to the community and the masjid to announce this request on Friday, (tomorrow). The need for warm clothing and blankets/comforters is URGENT.
Any cash donations will also be needed in order to do the shipping.
PLEASE GIVE NEW OR CLEAN AND GENTLY USED MATERIAL. REMEMBER YOU ARE GIVING TO YOUR BROTHERS !
