I installed Tasque and didn't connect at the first run. Now I don't have the connect option anymore, and can't find any "preferences" panel either.
In the unity's task bar no option is shown.

Hi,
Sorry, I don't know about ubuntu, but on my machine (gentoo) I simply
right-click the tray-icon and select „Preferences“.

Hi,
You're right. Unity rejects displaying tray icons that are not white-listed.
To white-list tasque do the following:
- install dconf-tools if it they're not installed (sudo apt-get
install dconf-tools)
- fire up dconf-editor
- navigate to desktop > unity > panel
- add 'Tasque' to the listed elements in "systray-whitelist"
- log off an on again. Fire up tasque. You should see the tray icon in
the right upper area.

see more info's on white-listing tray icons here:
http://ubuntu.sun.ac.za/wiki/index.php/Show_tray_icons_in_unity

Hope that helps.
