Twice today I attempted to back up my Google Tasks and it appears that the progress page got almost to the end and then the page turned to a page that said: "Please start a new backup to retrieve and export tasks". I was using the Google Chrome browser.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing problems, but unfortunately I won't be investigating or solving that issue, as GTB is being shut down on 20 Oct.
