Hi,
I need to trim videos for DLC analysis. I decided to use the DLC built-in video editor. However, I noticed that the editor results in a loss in the quality of the video. Since my experiments were conducted in a slightly dark environment, this is causing issues.
The video files are .avi extension. Is there any other reliable method that does not change the video type or its quality but allows trimming efficiently? Please let me know.
Hi
Thank you for your reply.
I am trying to shorten the length(duration) of the videos.
But shortening using DLC video editor results in a decrease in the quality.
Can you please tell me what to do in order to ensure that there is no decrease in the quality?
Hi
I tried using this. But the resultant video still lacks the original quality. Do you know of any other trick. I want to remove the last 10 seconds from each video. Instead of trimming (making the length shorter), is there a different way to just remove the last few seconds, without affecting the quality?

I've put together a timeline with 36 keyframes. I'm struggling to work out the best way to efficiently manipulate the timeline. For example, the transition between keyframe 4 and 5 was a bit too rapid so I've stretched that out by a couple of seconds. It appears that in doing so, I've inadvertently dragged out the length of the entire video (from 1m:45s to almost 3 and a half minutes).
