use of mandatory with duration or length : bug or feature ?

Hello,

While using the mandatory attribute for tasks that require specific
resources to be present, I've noticed it only works as I expected when
combined with "effort" attribute.

But when combined with "duration" or "length", the mandatory resources
vacation are not taken into account.

I hoped to plan meetings by mixing mandatory and duration as that
seemed, but I have to use effort which seems a little less intuitive
in that case.

As I'm far from mastering tj, I just wonder if that's normal.
