Work on TaskJuggler III has made significant progress over the last
few months. On our way to the first stable release, it's now time to
expose TaskJuggler III to a larger audience for testing.

To learn more about TaskJuggler III, please see the manual at
http://www.taskjuggler.org/tj3/manual/index.html.

TaskJuggler III is developed in Ruby and can be used on Linux, all
Unix variants, Windows and MacOS. If you have Ruby already installed,
installing TaskJuggler III is as easy as typing

gem install taskjuggler

as root or administrator. Detailed installation instructions can be
found at http://www.taskjuggler.org/tj3/manual/Installation.html#Installation.

This release intents to gather feedback regarding the new syntax
features and to find conceptual problems. All problems should be
reported on
the bug mailinglist: http://groups.google.com/group/taskjuggler-bugs.
TaskJuggler III is not yet a full replacement of TaskJuggler 2.x. But
users are encouraged to use TaskJuggler III to plan their migration.

Happy Juggling,
Chris
