Greetings:

NWS Leadership is looking for key items related to Hurricane Helene for upcoming event(s):  Here are a few of things they are looking for:

1.  Number of Flash Flood Emergencies issued (lead times would not be good at the moment as survey and safety of our teams heading out has not been completed)
2.  Any partner quotes, IDSS during the leadup to impacts, and lead times of products are of utmost importance here.
3.  How many NWS team members were deployed.
4.  Any quotes from our partners/officials about our services.
5.  NHC/WPC/SPC lead-times of key products (especially the High Risk ERO from WPC, Storm Surge Watch/Warning from NHC and the Enhanced Risk from SPC)
    a. How many live social media briefings were done from NHC?
    b. WPC Key Messages issued, for example - any graphic?
    c.  SPC Key Messages issued, for example - any graphic?
6.  OPC data about ships getting out of harms way...  Graphic perhaps?
7.  Key office outreach/IDSS that occured before the devastating impacts (social media?)
8.  NWC, any key outreach or FIM information to share?

NWS Comm's will develop a 1-2 pager with graphic(s) with these shortly.  For now, you can place this information in this shared document.

Thank you in advance for you assistance and information!
