Google Talk integration (Read msgs)

Hello

Is it possible to be able to do anything with Google Talk messages?
Looking for capability to read gtalk messages and who its from,
similar to how sms msgs are read?

I am also very interested in this feature. Also, being able to change
the notification method of Google Talk would be very useful.
