Hello,

since Android 4.4 theres the App Data synchronisation.

The Problem: It needs much energy.

So i want to turn off just the App Data sync. Is this possible? I dont want to turn the whole sync off, just under the Google Account the Appdata sync..

I'm a newbe with Tasker...

Any ideas?

Greetings

If there was some manner for tasker to control such a setting it probably is not integrated yet since KitKat was just released recently.

Someone please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.

I don't have a device with 4.4, but there's an app called Synker that allows you to control account syncing very well.  It's free so it's worth a try.  It works well with Tasker, too.  You can make actions that sync whatever account you want so you can choose how (or when) any given account syncs.

Tried it, theres no way to turn off the app data sync when not connected to a wifi network.
But thanks!
