I have a few tasks to which I have assigned shortcuts. Each of these tasks is intended to put a doorbell camera or other outside camare in live display mode as fast as possible.

Each task consists solely of one autoinput v2 step which opens the appropriate app, navigates to the screen for live display, and clicks on the element necessary to activate the display. If I run the task from within tasker, there is no time lag. If I run the same task from the shortcut, I get about a 3 second lag before the app opens. After that, the task runs normally with no lag between screens.

I created a shortcut with with just one autoinput v2 step consisting of only an Open App command for an entirely different app from the ones above and I saw the 3 second lag.

I created a shortcut with only a flash statement and there was no lag.

Is there any tasker or autoinput setting that I can adjust to get rid of this lag?

I'll note that this only started after upgrading to Android 15, OneUI 7.0 on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

I have since received a solution for the startup delay. It is described in a previous message. I apologize that I cant give the specific message author or description, but I don't know how to access that information from within this message.
