I have a Withings Scale where it tracks, weight, body mass... in addition to CO2 and Temp. Has anyone figured out a way to get Withings account data into Tasker? The API is published here http://oauth.withings.com/api, but I can't figure out the Oauth stuff to work. I have registered to get my API keys but I find the documentation is just confusing. It's a shot in the dark, but I thought maybe someone has tried figured out how.  In the meantime, I'll keep trying on my own and if I do figure it out I'll post my results for others if they are interested.

This is not a direct solution, but there is an IFFT recipe that puts Withings data into a Google Doc spreadsheet which is probably easier to access than the Withings account from Tasker.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I do use IFTTT now, but I find it only works with weight and fat %. I was hoping to use the API to get the temperature, CO2, heartrate etc. that IFTTT doesn't support currently.

I managed to find an online tool https://www.runscope.com/oauth1_tool/ that gets me past the Request Token, Authorize Token and finally Access Token of the Oauth 1.0a process. Now that I have the keys I need, I figure I just need a way to sign my request to Withings.

According to this guide...https://dev.twitter.com/docs/auth/creating-signature I just need to calculate the signature of the complete HTTP request using an algorithm. Has anyone been able to accomplish this using Tasker, and perhaps some code in SL4A?

Or even better, is there plans to incorporate the signing process into a future Variable Convert function? Pent?

Why not just ask the app creator for intents or a plug in for tasker? seems like that would be the sensible thing to do.

Have you played with Temboo? They're very good at obfuscating oauth stuff for developers. I use it for fitbit.
