Can't put task widget on home screen (version 4.0,4).

I am running Android version 4.0.4 which has a different method of adding widgets and app icons to the home screen.

When you tap and hold a position on the screen, you get a menu that only allows you to change the wallpaper.

The new method has you select All Apps and scroll thru the apps to an area that has existing widgets, then drag them onto the screen,

There is a Tasker widget but I can't make it do anything.

Drag the widget to the screen.

When I try to drag the Task widget to the screen I get an error message:

"Data blocked: Please return to the main app and exit via the main screen'"

Then nothing appears on the screen.

Open Tasker and exit via the green checkmark at the bottom and then try again.
