Get location v2 stopped working after connecting to public wifi

Get location v2 only works ONCE after rebooting phone. Reboot is the only "setting" that helps. Get location V1 works as it used to. I don't have any automatic updates on, so I cannot think of any other reason than connecting to the public (hospital) wifi. After that it hasn't worked under any wifi, gps or whatever. Rooted Samsung J5 2016, Android 7.1. Tasker 5.12.22.

Same. Get Location v2 stopped working on LG G5 & Samsung Galaxy S7, I think this is problem of Google Play Services.

On Galaxy Tab s5s running stock Android 11 (Aug 1, 2021).

I had a similar issue. Toggled Location, and Location v2 started working again.
