I tried to make a live update notification, but on my Samsung S25 with Android 16 it doesn't work. I get a normal notification, no chip and no short critical text when Tasker is not on the foreground. Am I missing something or is my phone missing something? Shizuku running and Tasker Settings 2.0 installed in case that could make a difference.
Thanks for any idea!
Eric

Can you please export your task's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the task in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance

Hi João,
Thanks for your fast response! The task description (I added the wait so I could swipe away Tasker before the notification appears, in case that would make any difference):

This seems to work on my Samsung S25 Ultra (Android 16, ui 8.0). Or more accurately, it seems to have no effect, as it works the same when checked or unchecked.
Are we sure that this feature is even supported on Samsung devices? There are also other differences I have noted.

The fact that it has no effect is exactly what the problem is. It should make a difference. Would be nice to know whether it's a Samsung "feature" or me overlooking something.

Unfortunately it does seem like it's just a matter of Samsung again not behaving properly. Sorry :( Wish I could help!

Thanks Joao. I suspected that.
At least Samsung still allows us to turn back on notification persistence (at least on my S25U). I missed that when Google took it away.
