Switching DNS

I'm trying to change the DNS setting from the specified Adguard hostname to automatic when the Fitbit app is launched, as some features are unavailable otherwise: 

 Profile: Fitbit
     Application: Fitbit
    
    Enter Task: Anon
    
    A1: Custom Setting [
         Type: Global
         Name: private_dns_mode
         Value: opportunistic ]
    
    
    Exit Task: Anon
    
    A1: Custom Setting [
         Type: Global
         Name: private_dns_mode
         Value: hostname ]

The entry/exit tasks do indeed switch the setting but only when run independently (i.e. if exit is disabled then entry works and vice versa) but not with both enabled. I've played around with app invert and a couple of other things but am stumped now?.. TIA

Hi! Just to clarify, do you mean that if you run the tasks manually they work, but the profile won't trigger them? Thanks in advance.
