Hi all,

I am using tasker for several tasks now, but there is one thing I
can't get done.

I use Fritz!App Phone at home (when connected to my wifi), and
prefixer when not at home.

Prefixer is configured to prefix every international call with the
"callthrough" number of my Fritz!Box (and the pin, pauses,
zero, .....).

I'd like tasker to disable prefixer when at home, since I don't need
the callthrough feature then. When it is active, it interferes Fritz!
App.

Stopping the apps dependent on the profile works _sometimes_ on my
phone (HTC Desire HD, Android 2.2.1), but not on my wifes phone (HTC
Incredible S).

I would like tasker to perform the following:

When "coming home":
- Disable prefixer
- Start Fritz!App Phone if not already running

When "leaving home"
- Disable Fritz!App Phone (not absolutely needed)
- Start prefixer if it is not running
- Enable Prefixer (if not enabled)

Every hint is greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance
Olaf

Maybe it's possible to do that with Tasker's Call Redirect action,
which make disabling easy.

By disable I guess you mean 'Kill', unless the app has some defined
way to disable it. You could ask the developers to write a Locale
plugin for control that then Tasker could use.

Otherwise, you need a rooted phone to ensure that all the components
of an app stop running
with Kill App since Froyo.

I don't think so. If I don't misunderstand, call redirect is for
incoming calls, right?
I want to use if for outgoing calls. E.g. I dial +7-12345-67890 and
prefixer changes this to 08154711p1234p0p007-12345-67890

I have free calls from my mobile phone to my home number (in the
example 08154711) and from home I have free international calls.

I already tried to find an intent for prefixer, but no succes up to
now.

I noticed that. I vas 2.2.1, and killing does not work always. Maybe I
should root my phone ....

No, outgoing.

Should be possible (though I can't remember the details of that action
right now).

I would ask the developers to write a locale plugin first.

Maybe they have already, did you look in the Plugin action category ?

I see. Have to try that.... Anyway, I like the the regex support of
prefixer, since I like regexes ;-)
Regex support makes it easy (kinda ;-)) to select the numbers to be
prefixed....

I will check that.

I looked, but there is none. I will ask the dev.

Thanks a lot.

It supports pattern matching as described in the userguide, though not
full regex.
