Couldn't toggle airplane mode with ADB Wifi

I have a simple task setup to turn Airplane mode one, delay 10 seconds, turn Airplane mode off, delay 3 minutes and then repeat.

It will work fine, but then randomly encounter this error:

It can hit this error on the first run, or the twentieth, seemingly at random.

I have the phone tethered to my PC, am essentially trying to achieve a connection that has it's IP changed every 3 minutes.

Any ideas? Have searched about, found only questions without answers.

Hi. That happens if the command line doesn't return the expected result. I don't get that issue on my devices... Does it sometimes error out only to run correctly right afterwards? Maybe you could try running it in a loop until it doesn't error out anymore (with a max number of retries just to be safe)?
