Anyone tried the Tasker integration with this app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.icecoldapps.synchronizeultimate

Dev says conditions, events and actions are supported.

Comparison to FolderSync ?

App itself is much better than Foldersync, because it affords much finer customization of sync options (not to mention a lot more cloud providers). The UI is can be a little complex for the uninitiated though, so I suspect Tasker users would find it particularly appealing

Tasker integration is superb, lots of options for syncing, start/stop, much better than Foldersync. I've dumped the latter now (and other single-service standalone apps) in favor of just Synchronize Ultimate which addresses all my cloud syncing needs

Synchronize Ultimate supports far more protocols and cloud services than FolderSync.
It is an excellent app, and in my view surpasses anything else on the market.
App works as intended. It has yet to fail in two weeks of daily use.
It has a very capable file manager, to boot.

I have tried it. I have not tried all of the functionality of course. But one of the features that I like is the ability to start/stop the app running. So I start the app when I begin my sync processes, then I check later to see if they have completed, if they have, I can terminate the app using its own feature set. I have found that FolderSync app continues to stay resident checking when it has to run. With SynchorinzeUltimate I seem to have more control when the app is running and when it is not, this is a big feature for me. So far, the integration with Tasker is smooth and works well. There is some setup to get it running, and there are a lot options, with some learning curve, but worth the price of admission and the time to learn it. I am highly considering moving all of my sync needs to this app.

So suffice it to say, it is working for what my needs and works well with what I have attempted to use with Tasker. Just my 2 cents on the app.

Hello

I use it in replacement of foldersync between my owncloud server and my galaxy S2 ( latest cyanogenmod ) : activation of 2 sync pairs each time I reconnect to the home wifi.
Everything works well, until I have sometimes many wifi disconnection ( it comes from my ISP box ) : sync jobs is repeated for each disconnection / reconnection.

Foldersync have a problem with Owncloud : You cannot use "Owncloud" profile while creating a new account with account creation wizard. You have to use generic webdav profile to get it to works.
Synchronize Ultimate works with Owncloud profile during profile creation step, and run flawless since I use it.

@Pent

Thanks for the heads up. I will try this out and by the looks of it, it seems like it will be better than the others.
