Hi there,

I live in an apartment complex where people need to be buzzed in.
Guests call my phone through the call box, I answer, and hit keypad #6
to let them in. Is there an easy way to automate this with tasker?

Thanks,
David

Hi David, you must live in a smart apartment.. I have bars at my
windows..

Anyway, I was just thinking, if you automate it, wont it just let
anyone one in?!!

Regardless, how about: Event, phone ringing (caller is the box
number), phone take call (or if not available input, button, call)
then 'dial 6' (or if that doesn't work input, dpad, down, down right
(I think) and dpad press).

If the above doesn't work, I suggest you just leave the front door
open ;)

I'd like to do the same thing except dial '1' to answer the call using
Google Voice. Now that I have turned on Sprint integration with
Google Voice 100% of my calls require me to dial 1 on answer....

brandall, what you did appears to take the call... I'd like to have it
dial one whenenever the event "answer call" happens, but it doesn't
appear there is an answer call event or state. I see only "incoming
call" for state, or "phone ringing" for event.

Any other thoughts on how to do this anyone?

Event -> Phone -> Phone Offhook I think is the one you want
