Hello,
I use fingerprint as my locking method on my NON-ROOTED Samsung Galaxy s6 edge.

I want to unlock my device & then again activate lockscreen after my task is done.

I have tried secure settings, which can unlock & lock the device by clearing the pin lock but it removes/changes the locking method from fingerprint to pin.

I have thought to input the pin to unlock the device with autoinput plugin, so that the fingerprint isn't removed.(tested working)

Problem I currently have:-

1. The problem is that the pin-keypad is hidden under a 'swipe-to-remove'screen & I can't find any way to automatically swipe/get to it. If I can get to the keypad, I can successfully input the pin & unlock the device. Is there any way to swipe on the screen to bring up the keypad?

2. I have also managed to find a round about solution to get to the keypad without swiping, if I can just drop-down/expand the status bar/notification bar. BUT on my phone, tasker isn't able to expand it. Though it can collapse it. Any method to expand my status bar will also solve my problem. Can anyone please help?

PS. I have tried using swipe forward/backward of autoinput plugin, but it doesn't work on that screen.

Other info:-
Device: Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, no root.
Android: Marshmallow 6.0.1

Thanks in advance!

since you seemed to fail with autoinput, and you don't have a rooted phone... seems like you may be out of luck  ;-(  You can thank Samsung for that.

That's sad. Sometimes Samsung really irritates.
