I am trying to extract text from an app and then send it to my KWGT to display as a widget so I don't have to click the app to see the data. I have attached a screenshot of the error message. If somebody could advise as to how to proceed that would be appreciated.

Can you please export your task's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the task in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance

Strain (7)
A1: AutoInput UI Query [ Configuration:App Package: com.whoop.android
Variables: strain Timeout (Seconds):5 ]
A2: KWGT Send Variable [ Configuration:Set: daystrain Timeout (Seconds):0 ]

I am new to Tasker so I hope this is what you are asking for. It doesn't seem like it provides enough info so let me know if I sent the wrong data. Thanks in advance for your help!

Ok, I think I know what the issue is. When you do a UI query you still need to open the target app so that AutoInput can get data from it. It won't work with the app closed, sorry!

That makes sense and it works now. Thank you.
