Project XML schema to build project with profiles, tasks, and actions in code?

Hi,

I am trying to generate a Tasker project in code, e.g. profiles, tasks, and actions in one single project. The idea is that I want to tailor this one Tasker project to some API I am building and keep both in sync without fiddling on my phone every time something changes.

Am I right that XML files would be the most appropriate way to generate something that I can import into Tasker (repeatedly)?

Is there any public documentation that is matching the current Tasker version? I was unable to find any schema or document that would help me generate valid XML files.

Is there any ways to see more validation/import errors when feeding my XML files to Tasker? The messages I saw were rather generic in style and I would love to see more details.
