Regardless of how I choose to disable, all "System/Cancel Alarm" does is popup my alarm clock app, expecting me to turn off alarm(s) manually. My workaround has AutoInput doing what I would do manually. But this is ridiculous. If I'm doing something wrong, what is it?

Always check the help text for issues with any actions or contexts.

It will always show the alarm app on my device as well.  It does dismiss the alarm when I choose 'Disable Any' .  So I would just use a action-> Back Button after that.

Disable Any doesn't work.  I think I already said that. 😀

By the way, if you want to avoid pissing people off in the future, you should say "I usually check the help text" not tell others to always check it.  "Always" is in itself a ridiculous word.  You must be young. 🤣😂🤣😂

On the contrary my young friend...😅 I have been giving and receiving help on these types of forums for long enough to realize that with all of the different languages and other factors such as autocorrect and auto screw up everything I try to type, "I" would never presume to know someone's true demeanor by reading the text of a post. "I" would instead assume that someone who is taking the time to try to help me is doing it with the best intentions and give them the benefit of the doubt if they happen to have a few grammatical errors... Just my humble opinion.... 😅

Yes, you did say that.. however you did not say that you tried some of the hints that were in the helpful text I suggested.. such as if you possibly could have two alarms with the same label or if you were trying it without an alarm label or if it was possibly a repeating alarm.  And then of course there's always the final hint in the text that could be your potential issue seeing as how I did say it was working fine on my device.

"Some modes are poorly implemented by many Android devices."

I hope that perhaps in some way this might help you...  :)

Here is the perfect example.. this text was not meant to be bolded or highlighted to insinuate yelling it was simply copied text that gets posted this way.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not to encourage any beef, but I am still a youngin' by comparison I think! Heh.

By the way! When I "canceled by label" (setting alarms ON by label is my existing habit already), it worked to turn off my alarm with that label.

It did also open my clock app, as discussed by the OP. However, I did not have to switch the alarm manually. The provided method of "closing" the clock app would be sufficient and a lot easier than creating AutoInput actions but only IF the "cancel alarm" didn't require the additional input.

That does appear to be a "bug" or device implementation issue for the alarm cancel to not actually apply the setting and throw the switch for that alarm to OFF.
