Hello all,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A running Android 10. The Tasker version is 6.5.11. Several years ago (around 2019) I created one profile that performs an HTTP request when the battery level is between 0 and 8 percent. It worked reliably for a long time, but for some time now it has stopped working entirely. What could be the reasons? Where should I start troubleshooting?

Best regards,
Steffen

I would be suspicious that the "enter" task is encountering some sort of problem when ran. Have you tried running the enter task manually and observing how it behaves? You can also turn on the monitoring trace if needed.

(In Tasker, open the profile, then the "enter" task, then press the run task button.)

Thank you for your reply.

Can you please tell me where/how to find the "run task" button? I do not see this option.

And how does the "monitoring trace" work?

On the list of profiles, tap on the profile you are interested in. The profile entry should expand to show the profile trigger on the left, and the first few actions of the enter task on the right. Click on the right column, and the entire "enter" task will be displayed. On that screen, in the lower left corner is a triangle, right facing, which is the "run task" button.

To see the run log, on the main Tasker screen, upper right corner, is three vertical dots that will expand into a menu.  Click on the "Monitoring" menu item, which will then expand to a sub menu that will have a "Run Log" menu item.
