"UDP Sender" plugin generating "java.io.IOexception: operation not permitted"

like 80% of the time I try to do a UDP Sender action I get the error msg:

java.io.IOexception: operation not permitted

The datagram is being broadcast on my home LAN.

I have tried to enable all the permissions for Tasker I could find in the Android settings.

if relevant at all; AutoRemote wifi messages are transmitted fine.

I'm using a Magisk-rooted Moto Z2 Play, stock OS (7.1).

Tasker 5.1m.

Beer/coffee/whatever money thru paypal if you can solve my issue, pinkie promise.
