I'm a Tasker newbie. I want to record a macro of what I'm doing on the
screen. If I can't do that, I want to create the following steps.
Would someone be so kind to tell me the steps? Thanks, Rich

START
Tap Settings
Tap Accounts & Sync
Tap Add Account
Tap Corporate
Type mail address
Type password
Tap Send email from this account by default
Tap Next
Type "@domain.com" in domain name field
Type "mail." in front of default entry
Tap Next
Tap Accept all SSL certificates
Tap Next
Tap Next
Type to rename account
Tap Next
STOP

You can't due to Android security restrictions.

It will only work if you have root. If so, use Input / Dpad to move
focus around the screen and Input / Dpad / Centre to select
and item. Use Input / Text to enter text. You may need to use
Task / Wait between some of the items to give the system a chance
to do whatever you 'tapped' on before moving to the next step.

Pent,

Thanks for the response but I'm stuck. I started a Task, selected
Dpad>Input>Button>Press>Settings but I don't know how to set up step
2, which would be to press Accounts&Sync, then step 3, which would be
to press Add Account, then step 4, which would be to press Corporate.
Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

No idea what you mean by that. There is no such action in Tasker.

Use the Dpad actions to move focus to Accounts & Sync then use Dpad
Centre.

Same again.
