I just stumbled upon a windows software that allows you to use Android
apps on a windows PC, in full screen mode, even. I have done the
setup (elements on PC and Android device) and have begun some
tinkering. It does have its limitiations, but it has potential. If
it allows me to validate, I shall import my backup and see if edits
can be saved then moved to the Android device.

Pent, are you familiar with this?

The PC info: http://bluestacks.com/

I really thought this topic would get more action. I see alot of
potential here.

I hope there'll be a better solution available at some point.

According to the comments, the sync app requires (demands?) a Facebook
account and access. I'm one of the old school that has no intention of
using Facebook so, whilst I'd love to create, test and edit Tasker
profiles on a big screen, it's a non starter for me.
