Tasker Run Log

Hi guys,

I find the run log extremely useful for checking my tasks & profiles are running properly whilst in development.

However lately, the run log seems to be only keeping a few hours worth of data. For instance, it's now 10:45am, and I know that several profile/tasks have run since 06:00am this morning, but the run log only has data from 10:22am this morning.

I seem to remember checking day's worth of logged data in the past, so has something changed, are there any settings that I may have accidentally altered (can't see any)?

Nothing changed in Tasker, perhaps you have a lot more
happening, it's limited by file size.

Thanks for the quick reply. What's the size limit of the file? There really wasn't very much in it when I checked, and I've seen much more in the past.

What happens when the limit is reached? Does it get completely wiped?

happening, it's limited by file size.

When the file gets to a certain size it is saved as 

Tasker/log/runlog.txt.1

before it is deleted.  You can view this file to get older data. On my device I need to change the file name (remove the ".1")  and change name to be able to open this file.

Thanks for pointing this out Rich, it's helped me pin down an issue with one of my tasks.
