I've downloaded locale execute plugin (just the plugin and not the locale app) and setup a new profile using this (http://tasker.wikidot.com/devicereboot) as a guide. I didn't install universalandroot as I'm rooted already.

I setup a time-based profile that's set to execute 3 minutes of the current time at the time. well nothing happened. I didn't get prompted to give root access to the plugin too.

any ideas?

thanks :)

What if you run the task manually with the play button?

There is a reboot action built into tasker which does not require any plugin but does require root

I have tasker popup a dialogue asking if I want to reboot at 10:45AM every morning.   I figure it helps keep memory clean. Works fine.

I created a javascript action and on the path section, I entered "var ok = reboot();" and then saved it. I played it and nothing happens.

and is it possible to remove the prompt? I set mine to reboot at 5am so I don't mind rebooting automatically (i.e. no prompt).

Thanks :)

If I'm not mistaken, his task uses Tasker's popups to ask for the user's input; normally, the reboot action simply reboots without warning.

Can you please tell me how it's done? Thanks
