Hello everybody. I'm a complete noob to tasker, but liking the idea of a more customizable app than IFTTT. Like I said, I'm a noob and need a bit of help.

There are two main things I want to be able to do from my Smartwatch using Google Now voice control.

1. Hue Lights

2. Apple Music (don't knock me, I get it free :P )

I've downloaded AutoVoice, and I'm starting to get the hang of "recognized" voice tasks/actions and how to create variables. I've downloaded AutoLaunch and some other plug-ins. I also understand you can also have multiple actions under one voice trigger (or just create a scene).

What I don't understand how to do is to simultaneously launch and then manipulate an app. In the above two examples I know how to create a voice command and launch the app, but then I don't know how to perform further actions.

For instance, I know how to create a voice command to recognize "Goodnight" and launch Hue Lights, but I don't know how I could go about turning off the lights (and I have seen this done). Similarly I can launch apple music with the voice command "Play (?<songname>.+) using Apple Music," but I want it to then query and play the song as per the variable. Is this possible? I see that as being slightly too complex, even for tasker.

For Hue there appear to be some plug-ins you can get that will allow you to control your Hue lights.  I haven't looked too far into it but I'd guess that you won't need to launch the app, you'll just control the lights with actions in Tasker.

For Apple music you can try some of the AutoShare intents:

to see if they work, but I'm not sure beyond that.
