If I try and toggle bluetooth with Tasker I have to grant permission in a popup every time. Can this be eliminated? I've run the Permissions app.

(Huawei EMUI12 unrooted)

Hi. That's a setting somewhere in your device's system settings that you have to change. Tasker itself doesn't show that popup.
If you can find the system setting that disables that popup, it should work correctly! :)

Hope this helps!

Damn, that's no help at all. I've searched every way I can think of. Thanks anyway.

I would use AutoInput to programmatically tick the button so I don't have to. If it bugged me that much, AutoInput is a great solution.

I looked of Huawei phones and apparently others discuss it over time. It is your ROM or system OS, not Tasker's fault at all. It is asking to pair or asking for permission. And there needs to be a "do not ask every time" option, but that's not Tasker's job.

That's one solution, but I've already got a sequence that opens the shade and taps the bluetooth button. Oh, I could try the text option instead of emulated touch. OK, I'll try it.
That popup has only two options: deny; allow. It's stupid. I know it's not Tasker's fault, but I thought someone else might have found a solution. I can't find a way of permanently granting permission.

I just tried using AI to tap the allow option, but it takes 10 or 11 seconds to do it!
