Hi,

I get the following Message:

Your APK cannot be analysed using "aapt dump badging". Error output :
Failed to run aapt dump badging:
ERROR getting "android:name" attribute

UPLOAD ANOTHER APK

Any ideas please?
Previous apk's have worked first time in the past.

Regards

John

Look at the android:name attributes in the manifest to see what they are
(click the file icon after the apk is generated)

What's the name of the app ?

Probably this line in the manifest:

<uses-permission android:name="" />

Coming from this line in the project:

<eperm0></eperm0>

Perhaps you have added an extra permission line in the kid advanced
config and not entered a string ?

Hi Pent,

Many thanks.

I have checked the config for the kid and clearly accidently brushed the + for extra permissions!

Correcting this sorted it.

Tasker is great and can do all that I want without learning Java.

Regards

My fault, I'll add a check that something got entered before storing it.
