Remote profile status - ON ore OFF in Scene ?

Hi all Tasker Gurus...  

I have 2 Phones with Tasker installed, one at home and one I have with me, and several Profiles that control different things in the phone, including a small FTP server.

I have created a Scene with Text and Checkbox for ON and OFF. Like this:

FTP server  ¤  ¤  

Door is locked  ¤  ¤

Garage lamp  ¤  ¤

Etc etc

The scene I have right now just sends sms commands by kicking on the Checkbox for ON ore OFF to the phone at home, turning the profiles on and off. But remembering what I have turn on and off after a few days, becomes difficult.

I want to send an sms to my phone at home, and get a reply back with the current status of the profiles on my phone at home, in the Checkboxes in my Scene. So I can look at the phone I have with me, to see what is ON ore OFF at home.

I'm a beginner at Tasker and don't know much about advanced features, so please be specific about how I should proceed to accomplish this.
