Tasker + "Blink" Home Alarm System

I just got an awesome little $100 security camera. Its a motion sensor wifi camera that will take a pic/video and send it to your phone via the Android "Blink" app. The app has a "power" button to activate the alarm on or off or you can setup a schedule so it turns on 9am-5pm while you are at work, however I'd like for Tasker to be able to turn it on and off to automate it so its always on if im away from my home.

Anyone know if its possible to have Tasker turn on/off a setting in the android Blink app?

I'll be interested in how long the battery actually lasts, especially if you have it recording all, every day.  I have a Ring doorbell that is supposed to last 6 months on it's internal battery. I got 1.5 to 2 months max which forced me to re-run the doorbell wiring so that The Ring receives constant power.

Anyone know if its possible to have Tasker turn on/off a setting in the android Blink app?

 I would say you  have 2 choices.

1. use 'auto input' or 'Touch Task' to emulate the necessary screen taps

2. contact the developer and see if the app has any 'Intents' for this or if they are willing to add intents to there app. You can then use the tasker action 'Send Intent'
