Chromecast sleep timer - is it possible?

Hi,

I'm new to Tasker, but I'm wondering, if it's possible to use Tasker as a sleep timer for my Chromecast, so the cast would be stopped after a defined time?

I hope you can help me out with this :-)

Unsure of an exact answer however there is a plugin called Autocast on the playstore.

I often use Netflix, but as far as I know Autocast can't be used with Netflix - please correct me if I am wrong.

The thing I would like to do is stop eg. the Netflix Cast after 30 minutes.

Is this possible?

I am not sure after purchasing I never got around to using Autocast.

The thing I would like to do is stop eg. the Netflix Cast after 30 minutes.

If you can't stop the cast maybe you can cast something else using Autocast to replace what ever Netflix is playing and then stop that.

Alternatively Autoinput might be able to simulate a press on the Netflix stop button.
