Im on latest tasker4,0u1 and utter3,02 on 4.2.2
And I probably missing something obvious... but I'm unable to find anything in tasker that would let me pick up on utter commands, nothing in 3rd party or plug ins. I do see secure settings tho. Can anyone hint anything?

Thank you

No, your not missing anything obvious. Utter is not designed to allow easy interface to apps like Tasker.

I was under the impression that these two have some sort of integration together..... at least that what i have seen mentioned on XDA and pocketables....  how one enable utter!  I like the app  if im honest  - seen the voice control as plug in but not ready to pay until i confirm i i'm able to use this for my set ups :)

Maybe try AutoVoice? :) It has deep Tasker integration. Take a look at some examples on how to use it in these videos:

Setting up voice recognition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfA9mE6kvko
Using AutoVoice variables: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiN07yo-ORw
Setting up a command chain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZuWVayKZgQ

And watch a really cool example of it in use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjTj0ymhbBw&list=HL1368142426

You can get AutoVoice from Google Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joaomgcd.autovoice

Ok convinced... will try few things and see how does it play. Btw - can you export comands to text file and edit them on pc? I really like that  in utter as saves a lot on typing on the phone?

If you are referring to Tasker, the answer is 'No' for editing source files.
If you have a android emulator installed on your pc, you might be able to run Tasker on that and be able to use the pc keyboard to develop. I've never tried it.

I was referring to utter - as it allows  you to export saved commands and edit files then upload back up file - so all playing about is done on the pc instead of the phone.

You trigger tasks in Tasker from Utter, you don't pick up commands from Utter in Tasker. That's why you can't find it

I was thinking the other way around lol. So utter gets me directly to tasks list then instead of being another context? I will work with that - and I was wondering why it is not showing up hah!
