Allowing the user to "star" projects/tasks/scenes/actions/etc would be really helpful so that if the user is currently working on a profile/task/scene and has to leave the tasker app for some reason (taking care of pets, doing dishes, etc), he/she can simply "star" that projects/tasks/scenes/actions/etc and then know where he/she left off when he/she comes back to the tasker app.

Otherwise, with the current situation, you have to remember what you were doing, or write it down externally somewhere, which is a bit of a hassle.

Thanks!

You could just make an "in work" project and put everything there. Or even label it "starred"!

Thing is, I already have so many profiles/tasks/scenes in tasker that I have already sorted them using the projects tabs (with labels such as Recreation, calendar events, settings, etc).

If I create another project tab, in addition to my five other project tabs (for sorting) already there, its going to be pretty chaotic and I'll have a bad time.

Also, everytime I finish something, I would have to move it back and forth between my other projects tabs. Pretty crazy and time consuming.

So, I think you idea is good, but not very utilizable in my case. Thanks for your input, though.

i have all my completed and working profiles in their own tab.  I have a tab called temp that i place the tasks that I am experiemnting with and playing around with.  Once I get something working, I will them just move them to a new tab.  I like to organize my profiles by common themes...location, calendar, car, bike. run, utilities, cell, ect.,    This allows me to be more organized.  ....

That's basically what I'm doing right now too, its just that it would seem easier to allow the user to star the items.

Just my two cents.
