If existing bugs in an app are no longer going to be fixed, then the developer should warn prospective buyers of this before they make a purchase and suggest other options when appropriate.

In the case of AutoRemote, it appears that development on this front has ceased since 2019 and that Join is its intended replacement. Why not recommend Join as a more up-to-date alternative on the AutoRemote Play Store page?

Customers who have recently purchased the AutoRemote app should be entitled to a refund with the option to apply the credit to a purchase of Join.
