Tasker no longer detecting New Window events

For a week now, I think since I updated to Android 9 Pie, Tasker has been failing to detect New Window events of any kind. I have tried re-installing Tasker and re-enabling Accessibility to no avail. I haven't been able to find any discussion online of anyone else having this problem. Can anyone give me suggestions to troubleshoot?

Menu > Preferences > Monitor > Display On Monitoring > App Check Method, select "Accessibility"

That doesn't fix it, still broken.

This is also broken on Oreo, it wass after the latest tasker update that it broke.
