Hi all,

I am looking for a feature in tasker by which I can lock/unlock screen by just double tapping the screen like LG G3/G2. I haven't got the tasker app yet, but I am very much inclined to buy if I am able to get this feature done by tasker.

Looked at an old post (link below) probably things might have changed after two years.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Double tap to turn screen on has to be baked into the kernel.
As the phobe is "listening" for a double tap even in deep sleep 💤.

I know some custom kernels have this feature.

Double tap for screen off is a laucher gesture setting. Can use Nova laucher or holo launcher (or others) and configure a double tap to turn off the screen.

Nothing to do with tasker.

The feature can be found in a custom kernel flash 1 and you have it,  how is this a wild goose chase :/
