I have a question about Tasker which I need answered before I buy.

Can I use Tasker to force an app out of immersive mode (ie I want to see the navigation bar at the bottom)?

I found this link on the topic but it's 2 years old now. It seems to indicate you can set immersive mode on a per app basis.

But it's 2 years old and it may not work any more. I'm running on a Galaxy S9+ and an app that used to forever run in non-immersive mode is now in immersive mode (stupid developer choice). I looked at the settings for the app itself and it says it's compiled for full screen only (I assume that means immersive mode) and there is no option in my settings to disable immersive mode. Hence my post here hoping that Tasker can over ride the app and force it out of immersive mode. Is it possible?

TIA,

Tim

tasker had a trial you can use to check. I use this action with a specific game, but it's hard to say how apps are programmed. I would suspect 85% chance it works.
